There are six common ways to give to Bloodworks through your employer, including using workplace giving platforms like Benevity, Your Cause, CyberGrants, DonationXchange, United Way of King County, and more! Check out the descriptions below to find out which option is best for you.
Matching Gifts
Many employers give a matching gift when you contribute to a nonprofit, doubling the impact. You can donate directly through your workplace giving platform, or by using our online portal. If you donate through our portal, you will receive a tax acknowledgement that can be submitted to your employer for a matching gift to Bloodworks.
Monthly Paycheck Donation
Make your generosity a habit with direct deposit giving! You can designate a percentage or fixed amount of your paycheck using your workplace giving platform. Contact your Payroll Coordinator or HR department if you need help getting set up.
Blood Donor Volunteer Hours
Did you know that donating blood can count as a volunteer hour? Many companies match employee volunteer hours, like blood donations, with financial contributions. Log into your workplace giving platform to log your hours and designate a financial match to Bloodworks Northwest.
Charitable Spending Accounts (CSAs)
Employers may give employees an annual amount to donate to nonprofits of their choice as part of their employment benefit package. Reach out to your HR department about how to allocate your employee funds to Bloodworks.
Employee Community Fund
