Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I check my points balance?
Log in to your Donor Portal and navigate to Donor Rewards or use the Bloodworks Mobile App. Your points balance and available rewards are displayed there.
Why haven’t my point shown up yet?
Points are usually added between 1 and 4 p.m. the day after your donation. If it’s been more than a few days, contact our Donor Care Team for support.

I was deferred. Do I still get points?
Yes! We appreciate the effort it takes to come in. Deferred donors receive 25 points at all levels.
Can I transfer points to someone else?
No, points are non-transferable. Each account must be linked to one individual.
What if I’m already in a different Bloodworks rewards program?
Donors can only be in one program at a time. Email [email protected] to make the switch.
Can I opt out and then re-enroll?
Yes, you can re-enroll in the Bloodworks Donor Rewards Club at any time. Keep in mind that points from before you opted out will have expired, and points are not awarded for donations made before re-enrollment.
What happens to my points if I opt out?
All points expire immediately upon opting out.
How do I update my communications preferences?
Log in to your Donor Portal, click ‘My Account’, and adjust your communications settings. You can opt out of any channel at any time.
Can I join if I haven’t donated yet?
Yes, you can enroll and start earning points with your first donation. Create a Donor Portal account, click ‘Donor Rewards’ and opt-in to the Donor Rewards Club. You can even earn any extra 50 points for your first donation if you donate within 60 days of creating your account and opting in.
I can’t donate. Is there a way I can still earn rewards?
Yes, you can create a Donor Portal account and enroll in the Donor Rewards Club. You can earn points by using the Referral Code found on the home page of the Donor Portal to recruit First Time Donors.
What if I am missing a gift card that I earned prior to the launch of the Donor Rewards Club? Can I still get it resent to me?
Any gift cards earned between January 1 – June 30, 2026, can still be resent to you. Please reach out to [email protected] with your donation and our Donor Care Team will look into it. Gift card earned prior to January 1, 2026, can no longer be redeemed.
