General Donor Portal FAQ

Why do I have to create a new donor portal account?

All donors must create a new donor portal account as of October 18, 2023. A new account is required to experience our new donor scheduling portal fully. We have a brand new system that doesn’t interact with our old system. You can schedule appointments and see your previous donations, test results, and more.

How do I find my Donor ID?

If this is your first time donating, you’ll receive a Donor ID on the donor sheet at time of registration. If you’ve previously donated, your ID will be on your donor sheet or in the new donor scheduling portal email announcement.

Still need assistance call 800-398-7888 or or email [email protected].

Do I need to know my Donor ID to book an appointment?

No. Entering your Donor ID will help to link your new account to your donation history instantly. If you don’t know it, no worries, you can still schedule your donation today!

To find your Donor ID and for assistance linking your account, please reach out to our Donor Care Team.

Will my existing appointments in the old tool still be valid?

Yes, your upcoming appointments will transfer into the new system.

No appointments are showing for the drive/location I want.

The drive you’ve selected may be full, but check back in the event a new appointment becomes available. Our donor scheduling portal makes it easy to find other nearby appointments by adjusting your search options by distance, date range, or scheduling up to 4 months in advance. New drives are added weekly.

Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) FAQ

What is MFA?

  • Multi‑Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. After entering your password, you’ll be asked to verify your identity using a second method—such as a text message, or email code.

How does MFA work during login?

  1. Enter your username and password.
  2. The system checks whether MFA is required.
  3. You receive a verification code or approval request.
  4. Enter the code or approve the request to finish logging in.

What MFA methods can I use?

  • Text Message (SMS)
  • Email Verification

How do I set up MFA for the first time?

  • Log in with your username and password.
  • When prompted, choose your preferred MFA method.
  • Follow the instructions to verify your device.
  • Once verified, MFA will be active on your account.

Can I set up more than one MFA method?

  • Yes. Adding a backup method helps if your primary device is unavailable.

When will I be asked for MFA?

You may be prompted when:

  • Logging in from a new device or browser
  • Your session has expired
  • Your cookies were cleared
  • The system detects unusual activity

I didn’t receive my MFA code. What should I do?

Try these steps:

  • Check your phone signal or internet connection
  • Make sure your phone number or email is correct
  • Wait a moment—SMS can sometimes be delayed
  • Request a new code

What if I lose my phone or can’t access my MFA device?

You can:

  • Use a backup method (email or backup phone)
  • Contact the help desk to reset your MFA settings

Why is my account locked after entering the wrong code?

  • For security, too many incorrect attempts may temporarily lock your account. Wait for the lockout period to end or contact support for help.

Why am I being asked to set up MFA again?

This can happen if:

  • You replaced or reset your phone
  • Your authenticator app was reinstalled
  • Your MFA settings were cleared by an administrator

Why is MFA required?

  • MFA protects your account even if your password is stolen. It helps prevent unauthorized access and supports organizational security standards.
