In this episode of Bloodworks 101, we sit down with Whitney Moore, a school shooting survivor. April 16th, 2007 will be remembered as one of the deadliest shootings in American history, leaving 33 people dead on the Virginia Tech campus, including the shooter. It’s a day West Seattle’s Whitney Moore would like to forget but now feels compelled to honor by hosting a blood drive.

Amy has saved over 600 lives by donating blood and will continue to be 1 of the 1,000 donors a day it takes to keep our blood supply stable.
